Spring/Summer 2025 Class Descriptions and Registration

May 5, 2025 - August 22, 2025 (4 Month Term)

*Most classes can be covered by OPWDD Self Direction Budget, please check with your FI*

NEW BILLING/TUITION PLAN

Classes individual is registered for: 1 // billed as $175/month
Classes individual is registered for: 2 // billed as $325/month
Classes individual is registered for: 3 // billed as $450/month
Tuition will be sent in monthly payments, and will be sent out on the last day of each month in the
term.

*If paying via private pay, monthly payments will be expected by the 5th of each month.*

Please be aware the tuition fee is not pro-rated due to absences or the number of classes
in the month.

Invoices will still be sent directly to self direction agencies if applicable.

NEW NO SHOW/DROP CLASS POLICY:
If students register for classes and then do not show up without an email from parents/guardians for more than 50% of classes, they will be dropped from the class and a $200 drop class fee will be charged to the families. If your child needs to drop a class please email us to avoid the fee.

Cooking Class:
We will focus on social skills while using common kitchen appliances (microwave, toaster, griddle, instapot, air fryer, stove top etc.) to make a healthy meal! If your child loves to be in the kitchen, this is for them! In each class, social skills will also be practiced. Please make note of any allergies in the comment section.

Social Skills for ages 3-5:
This class will support our youngest kiddos in learning bodily awareness, how to share, create friendships, and more! Each week will be based on a theme such as art, music, sensory, and more! Led by Emily.
Ages 3-5: Tuesdays 4:15pm-6:15pm

Art Exploration
This class will allow participants to dive into 4 different areas of art: painting, clay, multimedia art, and photography! Students will be gently guided in each class on techniques, but they will also have the freedom to be creative! Students will be able to sign out a digital camera during the photography unit. In each class, social skills will also be practiced. These classes will be led by teacher, Heidi Granville.
Ages 10-14: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Ages 15+: 6:30pm-7:30pm

Intro to Music (Piano)NEW!
This class will allow participants to dip their toes into piano playing! Emily, who took 5 years of piano lessons, will be leading this class. Participants will use tabletop keyboards to learn about the instruments, and learn basic keyboarding skills! Participants will be able to let their musical juices flow!
Ages 6-10: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Ages 11+: 6:30pm-7:30pm

STEM NEW!
Calling all scientists! This class will focus on exploring the 4 parts of STEM - science, technology, engineering and mathematics! Each class will involve some kind of hands on activity - whether that be a science experiment, building something, or problem solving! Time to get our hypotheses on! Led by Emily.
All Ages: Wednesdays 4:15pm-5:15pm

Social Skills for AdultsNEW!
This class will focus on a variety of social skills, including conversations with adults and peers, how to deal with conflict, relationship conversations, asking for help/support, advocating for oneself, understanding body language, social cues, and more! These skills will be taught explicitly, and then practiced using role plays, a variety of social scenarios, and improv. This class will give participants the opportunity to create, maintain, and strengthen friendships, and relationships, and gain confidence. Led by Emily.
